Our Dream Pink Pick of the Week is Rachel Schenedorf!
Tell us a little bit about yourself!
I am originally from Southern California, but after moving a handful of times (Phoenix, NYC, back to LA…) just to spread my wings, I’ve ended up on Long Island. I’m homesick every day and am counting the minutes till a trip back home in October for my son and me which, by the way, was 100% paid for by Posh!! Amazing!
I’m currently transitioning from a job I’ve had for 12 years into a brand new start as the Administrative Assistant for a boutique law firm, but my passion, my FUN job, is Posh. Every day I am with this company though, it becomes a little more than that. I sell Posh because I believe in it. I believe in our values, I believe in the sister(and brother!)hood, I believe in having FUN with products that WORK and don’t cost a million dollars!
Tell us WHY you are a part of Perfectly Posh!
My little boy is my “WHY”…He asks me all the time why I sell Posh and I always tell him I do it for him. It’s a bit much to explain to a 6 year old what an honor it is to be able to work hard at something I enjoy so I can take him on magical vacations and so that he can see his mother excited about something, inspired by her tribe and believing in herself! Wow! What a great example to be able to set, right?
Tell us a little bit about your family!
My husband Scott and I got married in Las Vegas in 2006…not by Elvis, although looking back, that would have been kind of a blast. Our son Bennett was born on December 28, 2010 and he is the funniest, smartest, kindest, most handsome boy I have ever met. Not to be nauseating, but I am seriously the luckiest. That little guy is my best bud.
What are your Posh goals?
My Posh goals are pretty simple….keep having fun. If this ever stops becoming fun and starts becoming work, I don’t want to be a part of it. Thankfully, I don’t see that happening. I am surrounded by and supported by the most incredible team and inspirational upline. I’d love to make Premier organically, feeling proud of every step and knowing that I earned it. I’d love to go on an incentive trip and Retreats and to UnCon maybe next summer. Those are more “dreams” than “goals”. My goal is just to keep having fun.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
Fun fact: I am in the New Kids on the Block video for “Hangin’ Tough”! Right there in the front row! You kind of have to freeze frame it to really see me, but there I am!
What advice would you share with other Posh consultants?
I always try to convey to my recruits and my whole downline how important it is to share your excitement and be genuine. Anyone can take a stock graphic and copy and paste a post straight from Team Posh and call it a day. I’ve done it. We’ve all done it! But how many times has that gotten you interaction, genuine interest? Your customers, friends, family and VIPs know YOU and love YOU. They want to hear about what YOU love and why. They want a part of your excitement! Of course they do, you are AWESOME! Don’t be afraid to be goofy, go out of your comfort zone, go live in Cackle Spackle (my signature move, by the way…). I can’t tell you how many people come to me and say they can’t believe how “out there” I am….that I would post a selfie with no makeup on and The Stripper in my armpits and talk about how much I sweat. They love it! Life doesn’t have to be so serious, and we are slinging soap and lotion. Really. If you can’t have fun and make real connections then what is the point? I love my job!!!
