Onward we go!
Sunday morning, we woke up from our FREEZING night in the pop up camper in the great Hoover, Alabama and QUICKLY popped DOWN the camper and loaded up the kids! We headed to a gas station, filled up and gave our kids the next hint on our adventure.
The hint, we were heading to the Sunshine State that is known for oranges…and yes this took them a LONG time to figure out.
Finally they determined that we were headed to Florida and just KNEW we were going to see Nana and Pawpaw at “the condo” We were in fact making a pit stop in the beautiful Palm Coast to stay a night in a warm bed, with warm showers and get a yummy meal thanks to my Mama. We rolled in around 7:30 PM and had a delicious mexican feast, watched some football and took some much needed warm showers after 2 days on the road. We were also able to wash all our road clothes so we would be heading into Disney with clean clothes and no dirty laundry in the little camper that could.
Our kids still had NO clue where we were headed and had really not even brought up the idea of Disney World despite their multiple trips there.
The secret was still safe and we drifted off to a very comfy sleep thanks to Nana & Pawpaw!
